Student Responsibilities - Requesting Accommodations
Students must request accommodations in a timely way (proactively); accommodations cannot be retroactive. Once a student is approved for an accommodation, they will be given access to send out an electronic letter to each of their instructors. The letter lists the specific accommodations a student is approved for; each student decides which ones they would like to implement for each course. Some accommodations (e.g., those involving testing or assignments) require students to specifically request, in advance, for each incidence of need. Access Specialists are available to answer any questions or concerns about the accommodation process.
