About Keisha

I am a proud native of San Luis Obispo County! My hometown is Arroyo Grande. I did venture to Colorado for 12 years and enjoyed having that experience. While in Colorado, I spent my free time enjoying all the activities that mountain life has to offer such as hiking, biking, snow skiing, and rafting.

Eventually, I made my way back home to the beach, where I started my family. I was blessed to spend the last 10 years home, raising my two children. During that time, I took advantage and attended college to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

However, through volunteer efforts at my children's school, a passion for assisting students with disabilities was found. My volunteer efforts transformed into a position as a paraprofessional educator in the K-3 classroom, which lead me to the DRC at Cal Poly!

In our free time, my children and I spend enjoy spending time exploring different beaches, geocaching, biking, hiking, and camping. We also have a thirst for traveling.

I am very appreciative, grateful, and proud to be a part of this extraordinary team in the DRC at Cal Poly! I look forward to an exciting journey watching myself grow and succeed for both, our students and staff.
