Keisha Cannon, Testing & Alt Media Coordinator
I am a native of San Luis Obispo county who has also lived in Colorado for 12 years. While in Colorado, I spent my free time enjoying all the activities that mountain life has to offer such as hiking, biking, snow skiing and rafting.
Eventually I moved back to my hometown of Arroyo Grande, CA where I met Jonathan, who would become my spouse. Jonathan and I now have two children. As a family we enjoy time at the beach, fishing, hiking, and camping. We also have a passion for traveling.
The majority of the last 10 years was spent at home raising our children along with volunteering around the community and in the children’s school. Through volunteer efforts at their school, a passion for assisting students with disabilities was found and transformed into a position as paraprofessional educator in the K-3 classroom.
I am very grateful and proud to be a part of this extraordinary team in the DRC at Cal Poly and am excited to watch the growth and success of our students.
