Born in Vietnam and raised in Southern California, I am excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the DRC team and strive for equal access in education. I hope to empower and support students with disabilities through developing skills that will help them become successful not just as a student at Cal Poly, but in their day-to-day life.

After receiving my master’s in social work from the University of Southern California, I have worked with individuals struggling with homelessness, mental health, and disability through local community clinics, state funded programs, and within the education system. I’ve learned that empowering individuals with useful skills and meeting them where they are comfortable will help them better advocate for their own needs and feel supported.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dog Max. Finding the next best horror movie, re-watching Friends a million times, and listening to Crime Junkie is my therapy with a side of chocolate covered gummy bears.

I am excited to be working alongside a team with the same mission and strive to better each student’s learning experience at Cal Poly SLO.
