About Debi

Debi Hill (B.A., Management and Organizational Development; M.A, Education) is the new Director for the Disability Resource Center and Testing Services. As the Director, Debi is responsible for administering and advocating for resources that provide equal access for all students, faculty, staff and campus guests.  This happens by promoting inclusive design, providing reasonable accommodations, and assessing the effectiveness of the campus experience.  

 

Debi most recently worked in the education setting as a Principal for the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education. She was responsible for programming in the county’s Community School sites, Juvenile Court School and county-operated Independent Study programs.   Debi is a Psychologist and has spent years working to support high-risk and special needs students attending public schools within the county.  When not at work, she can be found relaxing with her family and looking forward to the next traveling adventure.
