Local Clinicians

The following is a partial list of local private clinicians familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD). You can expect to pay professional rates; however, your health insurance may cover some of the costs.

  • Check with the professional of your choice and your health insurance carrier to verify coverage.
  • Be advised that many major health insurance companies do not cover the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities and ADHD.
  • Make sure you understand all costs before treatment.
  • The clinicians listed below charge approximately the same price for the CSU-required assessment battery.
  • Once you schedule an appointment to be tested, please honor your commitment. Be on time and attend all required sessions.

Dr. Jacobs conducts psychological evaluations for a wide array of concerns. Often students come to me to assess for such conditions as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Individuals participating in Dr. Jacobs’ evaluations often find relief because at the conclusion of the process they gain greater understanding about their struggles which is frequently a first step in successfully navigating their future.
