Tina Polito, Lead Access Specialist

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have lived and worked all over this great state, from San Diego to most recently in San Francisco. I love now living on the Central Coast and being able to enjoy the best California has to offer (especially the beaches)!

I received my B.A. in Psychology from Cal Lutheran University and Master’s degree in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. I’ve also completed the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) post- graduate certificate from Cal State University Northridge.

I have spent the last ten years working in the Behavioral Intervention field, assessing and implementing individualized interventions for students on the Autism Spectrum. I have a strong passion for not only helping my students get what they need to succeed, but also in spreading awareness in our community to increase understanding and acceptance of individuals with disabilities.

I am thrilled now to put the experience and expertise I’ve gained in the field to use at Cal Poly and work with all the dedicated and amazing students that attend here. I truly believe in the abilities of our students and celebrate their success!
