About Logan

I was born and raised in southern California. Ever since I was young, I would visit San Luis Obispo every summer with my family and knew that this is where I wanted to live and raise a family of my own one day. Fast forward a few years, now I have lived here for over 10 years with my beautiful wife and daughter.

I received my B.A. in Art Education from Cal State Fullerton with the intention of becoming a high school art teacher. As the art programs were being cut in schools across the nation, I found myself teaching, counseling, and developing behavior modification programs for students with psychological impairments in special education classrooms across the Central Coast. As I grew more passionate about the field, I completed my Master’s degree in Special Education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The moment I completed this program I knew I wanted to further my experience in higher education. I have a strong interest in helping students highlight their strengths and capitalize on opportunities their unique skillset has to offer.

I feel very grateful to have this opportunity to serve Cal Poly students as their Access Specialist. I look forward to getting to know my students and helping them to better understand and showcase their strengths and abilities.
