Adrian is the AmeriCorps Volunteer Infrastructure Project (VIP) Fellow at the DRC. She aids with capacity building by recruiting student-volunteers to serve as peer notetakers for DRC students. Adrian also coordinates programming by way of Connections, a social resource network that includes the ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Network & Self-Advocacy Group, Finding-Friends Advising, the Peer Mentoring program, and the Connections Club.
Adrian is a Cal Poly alumnus, having graduated in June 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minors in Child Development and Women’s & Gender Studies. After her AmeriCorps service, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in public policy with a specialization in child welfare. In her free time, Adrian enjoys cooking, dancing, watching TV, reading, playing Sims, and hanging out with her guinea pigs, Charlie and Diesel.
