About Brittany
"I earned my BA from the University of San Francisco where I played four years of division one soccer (Go Lady Dons!) I still like to find an occasional pickup game or tournament team here on the Central Coast. I earned my teaching credential and M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, as well as a PPS Educational Psychology Credential and M.Ed.Psy. in Educational Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
Prior to serving Cal Poly students, I taught in both public and private schools at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. Originally a native of the Evergreen State, I have had the privilege of living in many different areas: Germany, Washington, Japan, Montana, San Francisco, and now the sunny Central Coast. I enjoy cycling, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, skiing, and almost any sport that is out of doors! I support Cal Poly students who have learning related disabilities or processing deficits that may impact academic success. Additionally, I serve as an educational psychologist consultant for K-12 districts which aids students' transitions from high school to university life.
I am thrilled to work at Cal Poly, which I describe as my 'educational nirvana,' and hope you will drop in for a visit. You can find me in the Student Services Center, Bldg. 124, Rm. 237, right across from Spanos Stadium."
