Access Allies

Overview

tram-service Connections Access Allies promote equal access for students through mentoring and student events. Allies help host  socials, craft disability outreach efforts, and mentor students 1:1 on transitional topics like organization strategies, mental health, campus resources, and self-advocacy. Allies and Mentees gain a special bond and access to individual career counseling, fun free events, and a safe library study space. Sign up as a Mentee or Ally today!

  • Why be a mentor?
    An opportunity to make a positive change in your community by individually mentoring a student and/or crafting outreach efforts.
  • When should I apply?
    Right now! Connections Access Allies is always accepting applications. It is never too late or too early.
  • I applied, now what?
    You will be contacted by DRC staff shortly. If you are not contacted within one week, please email us at connections@calpoly.edu.

Mentees

    An opportunity to be matched with an experienced Connections Ally who offers advice, support, and resources to help with your transition to the DRC, Cal Poly, and SLO.
  • When should I apply?
